GCSxLoop (Simple and secure virtualisation technology)

How it works

Authorised users are provided with a GCSxLoop USB device which acts as their two-factor authentication and approves access to an encrypted loop.

Consequently, the user can insert the USB into any machine - either local or remote and authenticate to the “loop” to gain controlled access to the Government Gateway.

Simplicity - More than a VPN

The GCSxLoop is simple – we have removed all of the normal complexity of a VPN, and built-in all the simplicity of making a telephone call - you very rarely need to worry about getting connected.

QuipaLoop does not require: a VPN, a Gateway, a Web Server/Portal, any Proprietary Hardware, any Inbound Firewall Rules, external exposure of any service IP addresses.

Security

There is no "front door" (sometimes called a "central point") to your loop, which makes it really hard for anyone to find you unless you invite them in.

GCSxLoop provides an AES 256 encrypted link for authorised users to gain access to Servers, Folders or specified files. Its granularity enables higher levels of authentication for the most sensitive data and user friendly authentication for other levels of data.
